Spring Cleaning for a Cause
Bring your gently used items to the
May meeting and let’s give back to North Texas.

It’s the time of year where many of us clean out closets and the LSC has a way to motivate you to get organized and have your closets ready for Summer! The folks at the Family Resource Center of North Texas are looking for gently used business attire to help men and women in need rejoin the workplace. They also need stock for their Family Resale store in Denton. The store, operated entirely by volunteers, raises money to fund various activities such as Parenting classes, Alcohol and Drug rehabilitation and support for battered and abused children. The folks at the FRCNT need ladies apparel, menswear, children's clothing and infant wear as well as accessories like shoes, belts, purses, scarves and jewelry. All of us have clothes we do not wear anymore, especially items like suits or other business ware that might help someone needing a new start. Bring your gently used items to the May meeting and let’s give back to North Texas.

If any of you wish to upgrade your STC membership or add the Lone Star community or a SIG to your existing membership, please mail or fax a completed STC Membership Change/Upgrade Form to the STC office.

The Lone Star Community Membership Directory is now available here on our web site. Members, look in the mail for a letter from the LSC President that includes the password to access the Directory.

Don't forget – if your information is missing, you need to update your record with the STC Office.
