LSC Meetings

Monthly Community Meetings

September through May, monthly Community meetings present programs of interest to professional technical communicators. The monthly meetings are an opportunity to learn about work-related topics and to network with fellow technical communicators.

Administrative Meetings

The LSC Administrative Council meets at 6:15 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the LaMadeleine in Addison, 5290 Belt Line Road, Suite 112, Addison. Council meetings are open to the general membership.

Special Interest Group Meetings

Lone Star Community's Special Interest Groups (SIGs) consist of technical communicators whose special experience and interests bring them together to share their skills and knowledge. The Lone Star Community has the following SIGs: Consulting and Independent Contracting, Information Design, Multimedia, Newcomers, and Online Information.

Satellite Group Meetings

In addition to Special Interest Groups which are categorized by topic of interest, the LSC also sponsors one satellite group that was established due to the location.
